Large Pale Blush Hope Bowl
Longaberger has partnered with a community of female artisans in Rwanda, Uganda & Ghana. Handwoven by a cooperative of women, each piece is unique and varies slightly in color and size. Made in an ethical and fair trade environment. A weaver handcrafted this basket using locally sourced raffia plant and sweet grass. This purchase guarantees fair, steady wages for the community who can now invest in their children's education, increase their savings, and plan for a hopeful future.
The sunburst pattern on these baskets is known as the “hope” design. Reflected on the Rwandan flag, this sunburst images stands for the county’s collective hope for a new dawn and brighter future. This design means a lot to the weavers we partner with, as each basket they sell increases their chances for a better life. Style it on a shelf for additional storage or add it to your coffee table for a globally inspired feel. This large bowl is just the right size for a fruit bowl, keys, or wall hanging. Basket is food safe.
Organic dyes are used to dye the raffia.

Cleaning: Made of natural fibers and grass; do not submerge in water. If necessary, use a damp cloth to wipe or spot clean the basket. After serving bread or other dried foods, turn the product upside down: shake and tap to release crumbs and residue. Avoid using chemicals or detergents.
Sun and fading: Due to being all natural fibers, keep dyed products out of direct sunlight for long periods of time to avoid natural fading. All natural products with little or no coloring do well in direct sunlight.
Moisture: Avoid temperature changes when possible. If products are being stored for more than 2 weeks, please keep in a temperature controlled environment, elevated off of a concrete floor to avoid fluctuating cold and warm temperatures that could create mold.
